I just wanted to take some time to thank the many people that helped me this year. I couldn’t begin to thank all the people that have helped but I’m going to do my best to thank the members of this forum. My wife Julie - She puts up with my long weekends away from home so I can compete on the tournament trail. She is the most understanding person but I still need to remember I have to earn brownie points to keep fishing:-). Dr. Benson (Teresa Gale) Ybanez – Thanks for the vast about of conversations and support. I would have to say that this season would not have been as enjoyable without you and Teresa. Julie and I really appreciate the friendship and hospitality you have shown us this year. Oh and don’t let me forget our 18th place at the Fall Brawl. Larry Boggis – Fished with me during Division One.
I couldn't get him to all 17 tournaments but he has still been a valuable member
of our team. Walter Giese (The Miss Mercy) – As much as he hates to
give away any secrets, he has been a big help this year. Mike and Scott (Hit and Run) – Great meeting you guys this year and I appreciate the bait in Hatteras. Yes Scott I owe you some big poggies next year. Travis (Team Bad Fish) Owney – Thanks for all your support. Travis and I meet on this forum. We went to lunch one day and the next thing I know he is working for me. Also thanks for fishing with me in Southport. We didn’t win any money but we had fun. South Brunswick was another story. We’ll keep that one to ourselves. Phil and Paul (Team Long Overdue) – Guys we never got to fish together but I appreciate all the support. Also thanks for keeping Travis out of trouble in MoreheadJ. Joe Winslow – The great information on where to fish for the Fall Brawl and the great seminar in Raleigh. Your web page and journal have helped us many times. Both have given me ideas to improve my fishing. Now if I can just figure out how to pull it all together and beat you at the scales. I look forward to Division 11. Kirk (Reel Time) Whorf - I know we didn't get a chance to talk much during the season other than the one time I picked up my down riggers for the smoker you had on and the Raleigh "how to show". Owe yea I'm suppose to be thanking you. Well I know you would have done the same. I'm looking forward to our trip to Ft. Myers. Stan (Mister Stanman) Jarusinski - Thanks for all those rides up to Morehead City for captains meetings. Best of luck in 2001. Bruce (Moonlightin) Schmitt – It was nice meeting you this year and thanks for the cheering section at the finals. I hated to hear about your boat troubles this year but the new one looks nice. John and Jonathan Wilkins - Jonathan really helped
me out during the 2000 nationals. I really wanted someone with local knowledge
and Jonathan obviously has that from fishing with his uncle (John) on the Team
May Craft. Both of these guys were super. They allowed us to stay in
there house for several days and really made Cecil and I feel welcomed. I
owe you guys a big one! Thanks for every thing.
